i'm mel..+ i'd much rather be talking about you than me, but that might be a little weird on my website, so here goes!

i’m at my happiest when i’m surrounded by passionate people. the kind who roll up their sleeves, pour their heart into what they do, + find joy in the details. i have a soft spot for the weird + wonderful + i believe events should feel like something people can’t wait to be part of.
it’s always a privilege when someone chooses to come to an experience i've created right from idea to execution. that’s what excites me: collaborating with brilliant minds, making magic happen + all the fun along the way. i'm pretty seasoned when it comes to creating unique experiences.. from supper clubs in derelict buildings to private parties in a barn, not a lot fazes me!

this feels like my time to build something from the ground up. something real. something everyone can enjoy.

the outbuilding
+ clemmie
none of this actually started with a grand plan. it began with a niggle + a tiny instagram account, documenting the transformation of our outbuilding. from the ugly jumble of plugs, wires + bare lights it once was, into something
full of fun + possibility.
​
as a family we travelled around bali in the summer of '24 + came home brimming with inspiration from balinese design + hospitality. that’s when we knew: the outbuilding had to become a space for us to enjoy.
a place to gather with family + friends.
i’ve always had a reputation for creating unforgettable events from nothing, so it wasn’t long before people started asking: “when can we come?” that’s when I realised...
this space could be more than just ours.

from there, the vision grew: workshops, dinner parties, pop-ups. with a custom made bar, i'm excited to be able to take the outbuilding on the road- popping up at private celebrations + bringing that same warmth, creativity + magic wherever it’s wanted.
meet clemmie

then came clemmie. she started as the logo for outbuilding, but quickly became so much more- the bar itself + the spirit behind it.
​
if you follow me on instagram, you'll know i’m a big fan of orange wine. so naturally, “clementine” became the inspiration… + soon enough, she was clemmie.
i can hear it already:
“meet you at clemmie’s!”

picture the coolest little bar: always welcoming, always relaxed. a place where you can sip your favourite glass of wine- or try something totally new without an ounce of snobbery. a spot that sources one-off bottles for your dinner party, the kind you grab last minute because we were too busy chatting.
always great music.
always cool glassware.
always effortlessly chilled.

for now, clemmie lives in my imagination-
but she’s ready for a home.
